From Shop to Till to Online Market - Cash is King

As a business person , Im always looking for better ways to claw back the bottom line and increase my margin. On advice I decided recently to take the plunge and setup business online. Providing consulting services for the past 15 years , I had declined to take it that little step further and offer the services our company provides to the online world and to the greater volume & increased market. There were a number of requirements , one of which was the most important , to process the payment of fees online. We anted something we could integrate with our Retail Training systems and came across a company called Prodigy Payment Systems who provide all the systems from Retail , to Online and Credit Card purchasing.We could have gone various other routs for processing payments but at the end of the day didnt want to risk our brand by taking the customer to a 3rd party site for payment when we could use a payment system and build it all in together. Of course security was foremost in my mind when I wanted to put all of this together and when we deicded to bring in Wireless units to our retail centre , we thought we would have to go to a variety of vendors to ties this all in. Prodigy cover from the shop floor to the till , to the online retail merchant and more. When I learned that I could also accpet checks and get these covered by Prodigy Electronic scanning system to approve the check and essentially pay you faster and with more reliability then you would have with normal systems.
