Why sometimes you’re better off not asking questions

My cousin is pregnant with her first child and I made the mistake of asking her what she was taking the other evening when I saw her popping what I thought was a pill. I thought that pregnant women couldn’t take any kind of pills and curiosity got the better of me. She explained in great detail all about prenatal vitamins. I was sorry I ever asked , she kept me for hours explaining how good they were!

When is too much exercise really too much?

Doing a few laps around the soccer field tonight I thought about what a fat burner I’ve become lately. I’m just burning off so many calories between my running, rowing and cycling. I’m a lean mean machine, a little power house. I wonder what would happen if I were to stop? Would I turn into a big blob overnight or would it take a while for that to happen? I should just get out and about and stretch and more!

When to worry about what your younger sister is looking up on the internet

It amazes me what my sister looks up on the internet. She left her laptop open on some beauty page where she was reading a post on how to get rid of blackheads on nose . What kind of stuff do people look up? It amazed me. Has she never heard of squeezing them after steaming? Or going to a beautician? Or cleansing properly?

Having a body like this isn’t easy, it takes talent

How can every weight loss supplement claim to be one of the best weight loss supplement ever? It’s just so confusing going into the drug store and seeing all of these products lined up side by side. Thankfully I have a high metabolism so I don’t need these to assist me keep my body buff. And being a bit of a gym fanatic also helps.

Just a short back and sides – sort of!

I was heading away for a weekend recently, rather last minute. I had to pop into my local beautician for a quick trim so that I could don my bikini without being worried about being groomed! There is no excuse but I was sick over the holidays and had let myself go. Had a great weekend at the spa. Fantastic place and I can’t wait to go back again.

Work finally decided to let me get some training.

Ive worked her for 10 years and had training here and there but never anything concrete. When my boss came to me and told me that we finally had budget for training I was over joyed.. Except he tells me that I have to do it online.. I didnt want to be restricted to any old course and heard that there are some amazing Universitys online now. Did a few google searches and came up with some great places and Lewis University Online kept cropping up..
Im a Systems admin and so a MS in Information Security or something similar is what im looking at and these guys seem to have covered it all , with the same Masters that you would get in a college in town locally but nearly a better experience.

Finding inner motivation brings all kinds of openings

My nephew needs to find a job. He’s hanging out with an older crowd and my sister is worried about him, that he might get into trouble. I’ve asked at my office if there’s any work going but sadly there’s nothing. He’s a bright kid but he’s just a typical young guy lacking motivation. He wanted to be an architect when he was younger but he didn’t make the grades at school.

Visiting with your visitors

I’ve got family coming up to New York for a vacation so I’m currently checking out Manhattan Hotels for them to stay in. I would offer to put them up in my apartment but they insist they want to be pampered by a professional and apparently, I just don’t cut it. I don’t know whether or not to be insulted. Either way; I’m tempted to check in myself and be waited on hand and foot!

When all that’s on your mind is getting laid

We’re looking at moving to a great new house out in the suburbs, loads more space for the kids, more space for my boys toys and most importantly, an apple orchard out back. It’s a really impressive house and all I could find myself thinking about was what kind of garage flooring I was going to put down – I mean, this is going to be my new hideout, my getaway from the world. A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do…

Not the usual present but one with a little thought put into it

I got a great present from my brother for Christmas. Not the usual jumper and socks combo he gets me but a present that for once he’s put great thought into. See my car keeps breaking down on me so my genius little brother got me a good sam extended service plan. And just as well because my car broke down again just yesterday and I got a chance to make that call and get everything sorted.
